As an IT architect, you are responsible for the solution-oriented planning, conceptual design and project planning of all customer projects. As part of a team or independently, you will be responsible for implementing IT projects for new and existing customers and ensuring the smooth completion of project ToDos. Another area of responsibility is the expansion and support of existing IT systems. Internally, you act as a driver and develop systems for the strategic expansion of the company.

Your area of responsibility:

• Administration and optimization of IT applications and network solutions
• Securing the IT infrastructures
• Internal user support and team player
• Analysis, documentation and rectification of malfunctions (3rd level support upwards)
• Consulting, planning, implementation and support of infrastructure projects in the Microsoft environment
• Support, configuration and optimization of the IT infrastructure with a focus on Windows Server/VMware, storage and firewall, cluster and data center

Your profile – your gifts

• Sound IT training or corresponding certifications
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Windows servers (AD, DC, File, RDS, …)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange / MS 365 / MS SQL
• Experience in PowerShell, scripting
• Good knowledge of IT monitoring (CheckMK, Ninja, PRTG)
• Good knowledge of virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V & Proxmox) and backup (Veeam/Synology)
• Very good knowledge of server and storage cluster environments
• Experience in the installation of firewalls (Barracuda & Fortigate), as well as in the setup and configuration of networks and WLAN solutions
• Certifications desirable but not essential.

Minimum salary according to collective agreement. Place of work is in Grafenschachen/Vienna/Villach.
